I redesigned Balance magazine for Diabetes UK, giving it a less corporate and more coffee-table style feel. The editorial team allowed me to be very playful with the page layouts while always maintaining an acceptable level of accessibility in the typography.
Update is a magazine for healthcare professionals working in the field of diabetes. Working in close colaboration with the editorial team I redesigned the magazine to give it the more professional and scientific look they wanted.
Talking Sense Magazine
Talking Sense is the charity Sense's membership magazine that highlights the positive lived experiences of people living with deaf-blindness. As many members are visually impaired I prioritise accessible design while keeping the pages visually interesting and on-brand. A large-print version is also created alongside the online version.
